Bricklayer

Full-time at least 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure and cut bricks or blocks to the required size using hand and power tools.
• Lay bricks, stones, and concrete blocks to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, and other structures.
• Apply mortar and ensure proper alignment, spacing, and level of materials.
• Mix and apply various types of mortar, cement, and adhesives.
• Repair and maintain existing brickwork and structures.
• Operate construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other construction workers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure timely project completion.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards and regulations.

Requirements and Skills:

• At least two years of relevant experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques, materials, and tools.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Good attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
