Founded in 1950, Aquaheat has delivered high-quality building services solutions to commercial, industrial and infrastructure customers specialising in HVAC Mechanical installations throughout New Zealand. As a result of a strong forward workload we are now on the hunt for a motivated, ambitious person to join our Queenstown Contracting team.
Reporting to the Electrical Regional Manager, and on a day-to-day basis to the Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Project Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to efficiently, effectively, and safely carry out electrical installation work.The Electrician will ensure that all work meets the required quality, budget, and safety standards, as well as comply with all relevant New Zealand legislative requirements — or any higher standards specified for the project.
At all times, the Electrician expected to proactively and professionally perform your duties to a standard that aligns with current industry best practices and accepted commercial standards, maintaining a high level of workmanship.
To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:
Qualifications- NZ Qualification in Electrical
- 5 years post trade experience in Electrical installation works
- Valid, NZ Drivers License
- Demonstrated experience in relevant trade area required:
- Installation and maintenance of Electrical Plant and Equipment
- Commercial installation and maintenance
- Experience with building services specialising in Electrical work
- Experience in responding to and satisfying customer requests
- Experience with using hand or power equipment
- Experience working within Health and Safety guidelines
