What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in gib stopping/plastering
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to a high-quality finish
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or within a team
- Must have own tools and reliable transport
Key responsibilities:
- Taping and stopping: applying joint tape and compound to plasterboard seams
- Filling screw holes, joints, corners, and surface imperfections
- Sanding to achieve a smooth, even finish
- Applying multiple coats of compound where required
- Preparing surfaces to a paint-ready standard
- Following correct drying/curing times
- Occasional ornamental plasterwork or repair work
