Warehouse Manager / Storeperson - Christchurch

Must already living in and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand - NZ / Aust Citizenship or NZ Permanent Residency. **Overseas candidates will not be considered.**

Role is managing the inventory to ensure the production team has the right materials at the right time. Assisting the production manager with production schedules and factory output. Specific industry training will be provided.

• Permanent role - Monday to Friday
• 44 hours a week - 7.30am - 5pm (4pm on Fridays)
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience

• Warm and clean modern factory based in Hillsborough
• Opportunity to be actively involved in production

• Provide production instructions to factory staff
• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate materials for production
• Manage inwards / outwards goods
• Manage the dispatch worker, assisting as required
• Answer customer enquiries and provide basic product quotes
• Basic data entry
• Production work; one off small jobs and assisting during busy periods
• Assisting to keep factory clean, tidy and uncluttered
• Other general duties as required

• Stores / Warehouse experience. Manufacturing industry exposure would be a bonus
• Class 1 drivers licence with F endorsement
• Forklift experience with current OSH cert
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Excellent spoken English
• Ability to use power tools and factory machines
