This is a Permanent Part Time position during the education terms.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Provide professional customer service with a warm, friendly, and welcoming style.
• Maintain clean and tidy dining/kitchen areas, including cleaning tables, sweeping, mopping floors, and handling waste.
• Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating for service.
• Wash dishes, including pots and pans, crockery, and kitchen equipment.
• Communicate effectively in the workplace, receiving and relaying information, and following routine instructions.

• Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
• Good communication skills and a flexible approach and attitude.
• Physically fit, reliable, and hard-working.
• Experience in a similar role and a commitment to maintaining high standards of personal presentation.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment and operating standard kitchen cleaning equipment is desirable.
