Ehara taku I toa takitahi engari, he toa takitiniMy strength, is not the strength of one, it is the strength of many About the RoleWe are seeking an innovative and passionate Physiotherapist to join ourAllied Health Team as a Clinical Leader in Physiotherapy.As a Clinical Leader you will provide day-to-dayclinical, professional, and cultural clinical leadership to the physiotherapy team.You will contribute to the strategic planning of the department and be involvedin managing clinical caseloads and supporting the Allied Health Team Manager inclinical aspects of recruitment, onboarding, and rostering.About YouYou will be an experienced leader whose core focusis to support, enable and develop our people to ensure we deliver high qualityresults for our patients.
Your clear communication skills will mean you can effectivelydelegate work responsibilities and build trust with the team and be a leaderthat people want to work with and for.As a Clinical Leader, you'll be resilient tochange and able to have honest and courageous conversations to driveimprovement and equitable outcomes for people, communicates and whānau we carefor.Essential skills and experience:5 years minimum clinical experienceExperience with clinical teaching, training and development of staffExperience in people leadership or management is desirableExperience making judgements in complex situations where there is incomplete information or solutions are not obviousExperience in case managementKnowledge of NZ Health & Disability sector standards and the Privacy Act within a health contextExperience in quality /service improvement activitiesExperience with policy / procedure review / developmentCompetency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reoMāori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of yourlearning and growth Experience in projects / initiatives which giveeffect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application ofMātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply inhealthcare settingsWorkingfor Health New ZealandHealthNew Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is
