MD Freighting is a growing logistics company delivering for some of New Zealand’s largest companies. We run a tight crew of smart, capable people — and we’re looking for a Storeperson | Driver with real freight industry experience to step into a key operational role.

You’ll be backing our Operations Manager with day-to-day freight handling, working both in the depot and behind the wheel on local runs. This is a hands-on, physical role that suits someone who knows how general freight moves, how to handle a forklift properly, and how to keep things flowing without drama.

• Handling general freight – loading, unloading, and staging
• Driving a Class 2 vehicle on local delivery runs
• Operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Using scanners and basic systems to manage freight movement
• Supporting the daily operation – communication, tidiness, accuracy

• 2+ years’ experience in general freight or logistics
• Forklift licence (or willing to get one immediately)
• Class 2 driver licence (clean record preferred)
• DG endorsement (or ready to complete one)
• Good working knowledge of Marlborough roads and area
• Strong attention to detail and confidence with technology
• Previous experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) a bonus
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet timeframes
• A practical, physical approach – this is an active job

You’ve worked in transport, warehousing, or logistics and actually understand how freight works. You know that forklifts aren’t toys, Class 2 work still needs focus, and that good depot flow makes or breaks the day.
