Lending Consultant – Part Time

We’re on the hunt for a sharp, friendly Lending Consultant to join our team part-time. If you’ve got experience in commercial lending, love working with people, and can spot a solid deal when you see one – we want to hear from you!

• Reviewing and assessing loan applications – quickly, carefully, and in line with our criteria
• Handling applications from all channels – phone, email, online platforms and brokers
• Using your judgment and experience to make fast, effective credit recommendations that balance customer needs with risk management
• Preparing accurate, loan submissions for internal review or approval
• Keeping accurate client records that tick all the boxes
• Jumping in to help the team with admin tasks and whatever else needs doing to keep things running smoothly

• Ideally some background in commercial finance (e.g. small business, property finance, asset finance, or broker-driven lending)
• Proven experience in business lending, with a solid understanding of responsible lending practices and affordability assessments
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills – able to assess applications and risk, think on your feet and make confident lending recommendations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills – you're comfortable juggling multiple tasks
• A self-starter who’s happy working independently, but also loves contributing to a team
• Great communication skills – clear, professional, and customer-friendly both written and verbal
• Proficiency with digital platforms and an eagerness to adopt new technologies

• Part-time position with flexibility to work 20 hours per week, in our modern offices based in Pukekohe. Potential for additional hours as needed
