As a provider of essential services, our client is seeking a dynamic B2B sales hunter who excels at prospecting, relationship building, client engagement, closing deals, and transitioning new accounts. About the Role
Based in Auckland, with travel throughout the country (approximately 4-5 nights per month, adjustable to fit the candidate's needs), you will drive the company’s growth strategy by acquiring new business across various sectors, including large-format retail, education, healthcare, large hospitality and food preparation, manufacturing sites and large commercial buildings.If you are currently selling into two or more of these sectors, that would be beneficial.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement a business development plan focused on acquiring new clients and expanding market presence.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Actively seek new business opportunities and manage leads in strategic market segments.
- Prospecting: Conduct cold calling and face-to-face visits.
- Quote Preparation: Create and present quotes, with training and support provided.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the NZ General Manager and Operations Management to ensure exceptional service and delivery, exceeding client expectations.
- Client Reviews: Serve as the primary contact for quarterly client reviews.
- Territory Management: Manage a designated territory, primarily focusing on the Auckland region while covering clients nationwide.
- Administration: Complete all reporting and administrative tasks.
