We are currently seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our dedicated small team. This part-time position (20-25 hours per week) is based in Wigram.
About the Role:We're looking for someone adaptable, multitasking, and eager to tackle anything that comes their way—from managing the sales inbox to supporting our production team and even ensuring the coffee machine stays stocked with pods. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Xero, Excel, and CRM systems and have a keen eye for spotting issues and resolving them to prevent future occurrences.
This role would suit someone looking for 5 - 6 Hours per day, ideally 5 days per week. You will play a key role in supporting the owner and contributing to our continued business growth.
About YouA self-starter with initiative; a positive, can-do attitude with experience in financial administration functions.
A high level of personal presentation and professionalism, with outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
You will have a strong ability to manage multiple deadlines due to your exceptional organisational skillsAttention to and an eye for detail where accuracy is critical. Ability to liaise with others to get the job done.
Experience in working with Xero. Drivers licence is essential for running errands.
Key Responsibilities: Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes – issuing invoices and entering creditor invoices.
Completing bank invoicing and reconciliations with precision and accuracyReporting on the status of accounts payable and receivable
General administrative duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors/customers, and managing our CRM Ensuring client and supplier information is up-to-dateMarketing – ensuring Metalworld’s social media channels are always up to date and queries responded to. Working with our Creative Agency on campaigns.
Assisting in setting up a new Health, Safety and Wellbeing resource.
With direction and support from the owner, create and manage various reporting and management tools.
