The Manager would be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and managing staff to provide a welcoming environment. This role involves coordinating front of house activities, supervising personnel, and maintaining the quality of service and food.

• Sound coffee knowledge and excellent latte art skills.
• Proven experience in a management role within a cafe or restaurant setting.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of customer service principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficient in point-of-sale systems and basic financial principles.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests. Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner.
• Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Schedule staffing and manage team dynamics to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Work collaboratively with our head baker in designing, updating, and maintaining the bakeries menu.
• Monitor daily sales and expenses. Understand financial reports and manage budgets to ensure profitability.
• Ensure that the front of house area is clean, organized, and conducive to a pleasant customer experience.

Open 7 days per week. Must be available to work on weekends and comfortable with early morning starts.
