This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a dynamic team who work closely together to manage the operations of our cardiac catheter lab facilities to meet the needs of the Te Manawa Taki (Midland) region. About the Team/ServiceOur interdisciplinary team offers a comprehensive range of cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, pacing, structural heart disease intervention, imaging, and cardiac diagnostic tests, as well as after-hours emergency coverage.In addition to four labs, we offer a 15-bed facility that provides pre and post-procedure care to our patients from 0700-1900 Monday through Friday and we also provide nursing support for cardiac testing/non-cath procedures.We are based in Hamilton, the third largest city in the North Island.
It is 1½ hours from Auckland via a new expressway, and offers a great lifestyle. As the largest employer in Hamilton, there is a varied and approachable social network based around the hospital. It is within easy reach of both west coast surfing and east coast leisure beaches.
