About the Role:At Summerset, we place high value on providing an exceptional dining experience for our residents and visitors. To provide this we have implemented a new food strategy, to enhance the overall dining experience for our residents and visitors. Therefore, we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant who has a genuine interest in providing quality services.
This is a Part-Time Kitchen Assistant role working a minimum of 26 hours a week (Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri 8.30 am - 3 pm). Additional shifts may be available when staff is on leave, training, etc.
Your responsibilities will include:- Following the requirements of the Food Control Plan to ensure that all elements are completed as documented
- Cleaning of all kitchen surfaces including washing dishes and removing rubbish from the kitchen
- Working with the chef to unload and put away stock
- Supporting the chef with food preparation
You will be outgoing, friendly and have a can-do attitude accompanied by great communication skills. To be successful you will bring:

- The ability to provide high quality and timely support for the Chef
