Founded in 2011 by the Wahlberg family; Chef Paul, Mark, and Donnie Wahlberg, the brand has a cult following across the United States.
During 2022, Wahlburgers leapt into the restaurant scene across Australia and we opened our first restaurant in NZ in March 2023 at the iconic Princes Wharf precinct in Auckland.

We are looking for a range of positions and experience levels and training will be provided to all successful candidates.
Job functions include:
- Assist the Kitchen Managers and Assistant Kitchen Managers with all facets of daily kitchen operations;
- Maintain our high standards for consistency in our recipe and menu item execution;
- Help maintain professional restaurant and team member image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards; and
- Ensure a safe and harassment-free environment for all Team Members and Managers;
- Excellent interpersonal/listening/communication skills
- Ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork through self-confidence, attitude, and enthusiasm;
- Knowledge of operations and maintenance of commercial food preparation equipment;
- Organized and systematic approach to work and the ability to prioritize efficiently;
- Attention to detail
Specific requirements
CDP- Minimum 3 years’ kitchen work experience in high-volume environments; supervisory roles preferred;
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations and meticulous culinary skills; and
- Ability to manage inventory and allocate responsibilities and resources;
- Minimum 2 years’ kitchen work experience in high-volume environments.
- Minimum 3 months in a commercial kitchen washing dishes.
