Our focus is on making a difference through bold thinking, collaboration, and delivering value for the communities we serve.About the roleAs the Board Secretary, you will play a crucial role in providing proactive, high-quality support to the Authority's Board.

You will be instrumental in ensuring efficient management and interactions between Board members, the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Authority staff.Reporting directly to the Executive Advisor to the Chief Executive, you will be instrumental in facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the organisation with internal and external stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have the following:A relevant qualification and/or experience as a Board Secretary or Executive AssistantExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to form, maintain and manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levelsExcellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest level of accuracy and confidentialityA can-do attitude and high level of initiative, sound judgement and discretionStrong organisational skills and attention to detailProactive problem-solver with a 'can-do' attitudeWhy work with us?Electricity plays a critical role in the quality of our lives and businesses.
