Restaurant Manager

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, quality, and efficiency. You will lead a team of dedicated staff, maintain smooth operations, and ensure that all guests leave with a memorable experience.

Location:Auckland

Job Type: Full time – 30 hours Minimum per week, based on a rotating Roster.

Duration:Permanent

Pay Bracket:Minimum $30.00 per hour and the Employer is willing to go up to $35.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
• Planning and organising special functions
• Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
• Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
• Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
• May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
• Create positive, supportive work environment and foster teamwork

We are looking for candidates with the preferred attributes:

• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and public holidays as per the store timings from Monday to Sunday
• 3 years relevant experience / or Diploma or higher
• Excellent communication skills and Handling customer professionally
• Great presentation and Personal Hygiene, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• To be considered for this role you must be in NZ, and either be an NZ resident, citizen or have the legal right to work in NZ full time.
