Business Development Manager - Queenstown
We recently took over and are ready to expand our produce, service offering and hours of operation.
This role will manage the Café operations and provide a high-quality and memorable dining experience for our valued customers. The role will focus on searching for new business opportunities and coordinate the sales and marketing activities on behalf of the business.
Our Business Manager role involves managing all aspects of branch operations including:
Managing staff including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management.Implementing business standards, operational procedures and branch-specific marketing programmes.
Identifying and implementing strategies to improve the reputation of Wind Mill (Brazil) Limited in the local community and wider public.
Directing the implementation of sales strategies and setting KPI’s to maximise the sales and revenue.
Managing inventory and liaising with suppliers.
Managing sales targets and implementing branch budgets.
Overseeing the processing of invoices and daily banking.
Preparing business reports, including end of day, week, productivity and profitability reports.
Coordinating premises maintenance and trade contractors.
Liaising with local city council and government agencies.
Managing policies and compliance relevant to the Health & Safety and employment laws.
Completing the primary bookkeeping and accounting for the business.
An important part of the role will be looking for new business opportunities to grow the brand and drive revenue for the business. The key duties involved in this will be:
Identifying new business opportunities and preparing proposals for consideration of the Director.Play a key part in the expansion of the business.
Identifying and implementing new business opportunities for the branch to expand the business and increase revenue.
Promoting Wind Mill (Brazil) Limited’s products to as many people as possible with a view to growing the business.
Identifying and establishing new trade partners and business opportunities.
Develop relationships with potential investors and identify potential investment opportunities.
Key Requirements of the role:- A proven track record with a minimum of 5 years of relevant business management experience in the hospitality industry.
- Drive and motivation to successfully run all aspects of a food & beverage operation.
- Business acumen.
- Café & Restaurant operations
- Pricing and Purchasing products for retail resale
- Business expansion or new business implementation
- Financial and accounting analysis
- Do the primary accounting for the business
- Being bilingual would be an advantage.
- The flexibility to work hospitality hours for a business that is open 7 days per week including weekends and public holidays.
This is a full time position with a guaranteed 35 hours per week. We are open 7 days and flexibility to be available across a range of hours including weekends and public holidays.
We are offering a competitive pay rate of $45 - $50 per hour depending on the experience of the applicant.
