The Vocational Rehabilitation Advisor plays a key role in supporting this project by facilitating the safe and sustainable return to work for injured employees across the Northern region.The role will include a mix of patient-facing responsibilities and project-based work and will work flexibly across our four main campuses - Northland, Waitematā, Auckland, and Counties Manukau.
You will be part of a national network of injury advisors across the country, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary Occupational Health and Wellbeing teams and the wider organisation.About youYou are an experienced rehabilitation professional with a strong clinical foundation and a passion for supporting recovery at work.
Your ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams is key to your success in this role.Essential Skills and Experience:New Zealand registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with a postgraduate qualification in vocational rehabilitation or a related field.A minimum of five years' experience delivering return-to-work programmes, with a sound understanding of ACC rehabilitation services.Proven ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Confident in delivering education and supporting capability building in others.Skilled in negotiation and influencing, with a solutions-focused approach.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
