- can-do - attitude to join our kapa (team).Our service delivers dental service to 90,000+ children inthe Canterbury and South Canterbury communities.
We have 14 clinics locatedaround our communities, 18 mobile units that visit schools to provide dentalexaminations and preventative care for children, and 4 towable van clinicsaround our rural communities.
No day is the same!!You will be working alongside a team of Oral HealthTherapist/Dental Therapist, to deliver oral health care in a professional, andfriendly environment.You will have an opportunity to complete a Level 4certificate as a Dental Assistant, through Career Force,In this role, you will be responsible for:Providing chair-side assistance with general clinical careSupporting the clinician with managing anxious childrenProcessing and completing sterilisation process for instrumentsManaging administrative tasks and scheduling appointments with parents.
