• Fri.In this role, you will be responsible for:Providing high-quality diagnostic testingThe effective and efficient use of laboratory information systems to register patients, input data, and access resultsEnsuring the full repertoire of testing can be offered by following appropriate calibration, QC and maintenance proceduresCarrying out troubleshooting of assays and automated platforms when requiredThe development of your own professional developmentNgā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experienceYour skills will include:Self-motivation and discipline to work independently and a demonstrated ability to work to a high standard unsupervisedThe ability to prioritise and multitask as the situation demandsThe ability to work under pressure is essentialExperience in biochemistry is advantageousYou will be registered as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the New Zealand Medical Sciences Council, with a current Annual Practising Certificate (or eligibility to obtain)Mō mātou | About Us
