- ll be working for thelargest medical laboratory in the South Island which is also a majorsecondary/tertiary referral centre with a varied and challengingcaseload.
We have a modern and well-equipped lab including a good range ofspecialist equipment.This Laboratory Information System (LIS)Application Support role will be a key player in the LIS team, workingwith the CHL and its Labnet partners to support the LIS and development ofchanges, while maintaining the development and delivery of the LIS work plan.The LIS team are all passionate Information Technology (IT) and medicallaboratory professionals who work closely together in a fun collaborative workenvironment.
This position is full-time working 40 hours perweek however you will be on call on occasionally.You will be responsible for:Code development for the LISApplication support and trouble shootingModify protocols and configurationDiscover, options analysis and development of requirements for business needsHL7 messaging and integrationAbout YouThis role would suit someone who enjoys getting tothe core of a problem, finding out all the information and fully understandinga problem to make an informed decision.
We are looking for someone who enjoysbeing challenged as well as looking at problems and solutions from a differentperspective.
