Liquor Store Retail Assistant 2IC
We are looking for a Duty Manager/2IC Retail Assistant to help run our Local Liquor Store.
This is a Full-Time role at 40 hours per weekStore Hours are 11am-9pm
As we are a small team your rostered "Normal" weekly hours would be
Wed 11-8
Thurs 2-9
Fri 11-7
Sat 2-9
Sun 11-8
RDO Tues/Wed
Our store specializes in exceptional customer service and hand-selling products, ensuring that our locals and regulars have an enjoyable experience every time they visit.
Things we need you to have: A current Liquor Control Qualification (LCQ) and current Duty Manager certificate is a must
Strictly enforce Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012Previous experience working in a retail store environment, preferably within the liquor industry.
Specialist product knowledge i.e., beer, wine, spirits and RTDs (training will be provided)Maintain checkout and cash handling operations by following policies and procedures and reporting any changes.
Ability to work independently and follow company processes and procedures.
Taking charge of instore housekeeping and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Strong communication skills.
Problem solver with solutions focus.
Ability to Work alone
Team player who is flexible and reliable – the role does include weekends and evening work as well as some public holidaysAbility to build trusting relationships with team members, customers, suppliers.
Be physically fit as you will be required to lift, move, and rotate stock.
Salary is paid Monthly - so keep this in mind when applying.
