Job Description:
Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland based Thai restaurant and become a part of team in the kitchen.
This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)- Setting up and preparing tables before each opening for customers
- Greeting customers and handing out food menus and beverage lists
- Answering questions about menu specialities and matching drinks
- Taking orders and passing them to kitchen staff to prepare
- Serving food and beverages to customers at the highest service standard
- Cleaning tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen when customers finish dining
- Calculating payments for the order and collecting money using the cash registration machines
- Reporting to management on any issues that require attention, such as customer complaints, restocking needs and potential hazards at work
- Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in Thai restaurant; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in any major and some relevant experience in Thai restaurant
- AND Have the knowledge of Thai food

Maximum hours per week: 45 Hours/week
Minimum hourly rate (low salary range): $23.50
Maximum hourly rate (high salary range): $26.00
