About the Role Health and Safety is fundamental for our organisation and with a large number of frontline operational staff, you can look forward to designing and enhancing a wide range of Health and Safety programmes, projects, processes and frameworks that support leaders to build a strong capability and culture that meets our obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
This is a great time to come on board, where you will lead, coach and mentor a dedicated team working across the organisation support the management of identified risks, and drive through initiatives are intelligence-led, best practice and fit for purpose.About You You will have senior experience leading health and safety, ideally from an industry with frontline operational staff. As an experienced people-centric leader, with a passion for building top performing teams, you are comfortable engaging with a wide audience and will also have: A track record of standing up health and safety strategies, policies and processes that align with legislative requirements and global standards.
Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills. A collaborative approach with excellent relationship-building skills, communication, and the ability to drive engagement both within your team and across the business. Familiarity with or experience in the aviation sector or regulatory environments is an advantage, but not essential.
The salary band for this role goes from $136,939 to $191,448 with the mid-range being $168,191. Starting salary will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
