Intermediate or Int/Senior Quantity Surveyors

I have a few openings for Intermediate and Intermediate/Senior QS’s, both contractor side and client side.

• Tier 2 main contractor with large $50M plus projects looking for a QS to join a dynamic team
• Tier 2 main contractor with $5M - $20M projects as a Project QS
• Interiors and Light Commercial Intermediate QS
• Tier 2/3 main contractor focusing on schools, remediations and new build commercial projects
• Large structures sub-contractor managing the structures packages for Tier 1 projects under construction

• Large consultancy now requires an Intermediate/Senior with 5+ years of PQS experience
• Smaller consultancy requiring an Intermediate with 3- 4 years of PQS experience.
• Infrastructure Intermediate QS with 3- 5 years gained from infrastructure client projects

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities
• Monitor project budgets and forecast expenditures
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Assess and process progress claims and variations
• Provide accurate cost reporting and financial advice throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 – 6 years of relevant experience with a main contractor or PQS
• Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g. CostX, Buildsoft, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Professional membership with NZIQS or RICS (preferred but not essential)

Salaries: $100K - $140K + Benefits pending role and current level of experience
