About the role: We are looking for 3 full time plasterers to join the team on projects across Auckland.
If you have 3 years or more experience in plastering, are self-motivated, flexible and excellent time management skills we would like to hear from you.
Key Skills and Abilities:- Minimum 3 years or more experience as a plasterer in commercial and residential sectors
- BCITO certified or enrolled in the program will be big advantage
- Confident preparing and applying coats of plaster or stucco to various surfaces.
- Experience in all type of Concrete remedial. Bagging, Surface preparation,
- Experience in waterproofing and decorative covering applications
- Confident in mixing mortar and plaster to the right consistency
- Skilful at creating decorative textures in final coat
- Proficient in the use of plastering tools and equipment such as trowels, brushes and spray guns
- A strong understanding of plastering techniques
- Full New Zealand drivers’ licence
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as required for interior and exterior
- Applying plaster to walls, ceilings and other surfaces to achieve a smooth finish look
- Mixing mortar and plaster to achieve the correct consistency.
- Installing guide wires on exterior surfaces to gauge plaster thickness
- Applying prefabricated insulation systems to walls/exteriors
- Set up layout and floor screeding applying
- General concrete remedial includes but not limited to Grinding, grouting, sanding and floor grinding
- Work together with the site team to ensure high quality work
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Completing projects within agreed timelines to client’s satisfaction
Great advantage if you can speak Portuguese, Spanish or Filipino and English a must
Location: 2/ 11Woodruffe Avenue, Henderson, AucklandExpected working hours per week: 40hrs - 52hrs (as required)
Pay range: $26 - $30p/hour
