We are seeking a visionary and forward-thinking Core Clinician Social Worker to join us in improving equity and health outcomes for tamariki (children) and rangatahi (youth) at Te Puawaitanga, covering the Manukau, Manurewa, Papakura, and Franklin regions.This role provides holistic assessment and intervention to support positive, psychosocial well-being of a child, youth and whanau.
As a Core Social worker in this service, you will be working with a family-centred and strengths based approach, ensuring Tamariki are safe, supported and connected to their whanau. A commitment to working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team is essential, along with an understanding of and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi.If you enjoy being part of a positive and supportive work environment, this could be the role for you!

We work closely with tamariki, rangatahi, their whānau, non-governmental organisations, schools, and primary care providers. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a strong, quality-focused team.
