The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Training Coordinator, the Training Facilitator will support the training and upskilling of all operational staff to ensure our people have the skills and knowledge to do their jobs to the best of their ability. You’ll play a key role in the coordination and continuous improvement of our training and compliance systems and procedures.
The Training Facilitator will work with a broad range of internal stakeholders and external training providers to ensure that our teams are trained to an industry-leading standard.
This includes, ensuring all mining and related activities are carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety At Work Mining and Quarrying Operations Regulations 2016.
What you will bring to the role:
- An interest in Health and Safety regulations and procedures
- Organise, collate, and file departmental safety related paperwork and inspection sheets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with writing procedures and managing their implementation
- Strong commitment to safety
- Full Class 1 New Zealand Drivers Licence
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or unit standards (advantageous)
