The role

This role is flexible between our Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Front Office teams but will be predominantly Housekeeping focused.

We have an extensive range of luxury accommodation at Millbrook Resort, the Housekeeping part of this role involves ensuring guests receive a high-end bespoke cleaning service, whether it be in our luxury accommodation, health & fitness centre, restaurants or spa

Within the Front Office, we ensure our guests are warmly greeted and a tailored made experience is delivered, whether it be greeting and checking in guests, assisting with luggage, delivering room service, driving guests in our shuttle services or providing a luxury airport service from ZQN to Millbrook Resort.

We have four luxury restaurants and a functions team at Millbrook Resort, the Food & Beverage part of this role involves delivering a unique and unforgettable dining experience. We focus on being a part of a collaborative team, delivering a tailored five-star guest experience, whether it be during a bustling breakfast service, or dining at Kobe, which has an innovative interpretation of Japanese cuisine.

The Hole in One Café is fast paced casual dining and is renowned for our beautiful coffees. The Millhouse restaurant, where we pride ourselves in a seasonal menu of elegant dishes and an award-winning wine list.

This role will start in Housekeeping with the potential to move into Front Office and/or Food & Beverage in the future.

  • Outstanding communication skills, coupled with a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work on own initiative, as well as work as an effective team player
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment, coupled with excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work full time including shifts, weekends & public holidays
  • Drivers Licence advantageous

Describe your leadership style?

I love to work alongside my team and together create a positive work environment. I believe it is crucial to know each of your team members and where they are at their best to allow them to perform, as well as giving everyone a space to grow and develop their skills

What do you enjoy most about working at Millbrook?

My number one is certainly the team we have, such an interesting bunch of individuals coming from all parts of the world with different cultures and hobbies. I also love the opportunity for growth and development here... and obviously, the scenery!

What are some of your favourite aspects of working in the Front Office department?

Again, the team makes the Front Office department such an enjoyable team to be part of. I also love taking care of our guests and finding creative ways to make their stay more memorable. Not one day is the same!
